Albright Design Engineering Limited has extensive experience in the design, upgrading and modification of bulk storage terminals and has experience of providing these services for large blue chip Companies such as BP, Total Oil and WOSL where a complete design and management package has sometimes been required. Albright’s services also include Mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation design, Pipe stress analysis, Management, Cost control and reporting, estimating, feasibility studies.
Current projects include the installation of remote operated shut off valves (ROSOV’s) in accordance with the recommendations of the Process Safety Leadership Group (PSLG) final report for 20 above ground bulk storage tanks at TDG UK Ltd Dagenham Terminal. Also included is the installation of automatic tank gauging and temperature monitoring. The project is being carried out on a turnkey or EPC (Engineer Procure & Construct) basis.
A Bund integrity survey and report was also provided for Warwickshire Oil Storage Limited, Kingsbury Terminal to assess the adequacy of the existing storage tank bunds. The report included an itemised list of defects with recommended remedial action, subsequently awarded detailed design of the remedial works.
